Volume 1 cover is revealed!

Hey at least like...half of these characters on the cover are actually part of the story's plot. I agree tho having Hougen on the cover sure is weird...and characters like Hyena. At least Kurokamakiri (at least I THINK that's supposed to be Kurokama with the dark/black fur and blue eyes) on the bottom seems to have an 'important' role in this series' story. I do like that Lydia is on here since she's one of my favorites from GDW onward.

While I don't think the cover itself looks all that great (the way the characters are cropped and placed is pretty bad imo), I think it makes sense for it to include characters throughout the series, whether or not they're relevant in GDReq. Considering this is supposedly the "final" Ginga series, I think it's just trying to show off characters that were important throughout it.

Are there better characters that could have been picked though? Definitely.

He was supposed to be done with writing after The Last Wars. The Last Wars was supposed to be the last wars.... I honestly feel bad for Yoshi since he probably won't get the peaceful retiring he really deserves.

The Ouu Army seems a bit rusty (they did just get back from being washed down a river). Either that, or Masachika is an actual contender.

As much as I'm not fond of him being a Kamakiri clone, I have to appreciate Masachika being an actual threat. He outsmarted Rocket and somehow got the upper hand on Kagetora, Kyoushiro, and Jerome.

If Orion suddenly appears to save them all, that would be too predictable and convenient.

I'm not sure if i like our boys being beaten up by the new villain or does it kinda piss me off actually ::] like the ohu soldiers are strong as hell but is this random ass white kamakiri really stronger than them, somehow im not yet impressed taking into account that it's pretty much been Orion who's kicked ass back so if he does come around and actually struggle with these guys then im sold, but other than that not really tbh o7
