The stage play is available on DVD, which is available on Amazon Japan. However, it's rather expensive (~80 USD before shipping and import tax) and it's probably also worth bearing in mind it's region-locked (specifically, it'll only run on devices that can run Region 2 DVDs).

Not on the same day. I guess it's total people of all shows. I'm not so sure how many it really was. 😊
Okay. Just needed to make sure if it was 5000 people in Tokyo alone, or if it was around 5000 people for all the shows:)
I really wish I could see it :nosebleed:
Yeah the show was really amazing! :bon1:

I recently discovered a movie titled ''Bagi, Monster of might nature'' and I have a strong feeling Kaibutsu's name/facility might have been taken from it actually. Image I mean, what are the chances that both would coincidentally feature a P-4 lab for torturing dangerous genetically engineered monster animals?

Oh interesting theory!! Considering Tezuka's work is very influential, it's definitely possible.

P4 is actually the term given to a type of biosafety laboratory, with the numbers being an indicator of how dangerous the contents of the laboratory are - they go from 1 (non-pathogenic strains of bacterium such as E.coli) to 4 ("level 4 hot agents" being the most lethal Resident Evil stuff we know of - such as Ebola). They're also known as BSL(BioSafety Level)-4, BSL-2 etcetera. So I can see how these places, where they're liking performing experiments on animals with potentially hazardous viruses, might be P4 laboratories.
Although, Kaibutsu escaped his lab by jumping out a window... and somehow, I highly doubt that there are any windows in a BSL-4 lab, for obvious reasons.

Actually, Kaibutsu ran through a door (only anime did via a window....)

Thank you for that correction, Tora. I couldn't remember if his escape was the same in the manga. :yama1:

Interesting. That explains the ''4'', but what about ''P''? Does it also signify something in real life?

Yea, or it might be added as an easter egg by Yoshi or his editors.

The "P" stands for "Pathogen" or "Protection" level. Again, 1 being the least hazardous and 4 being the most lethal. Or, in the case of Protection, how much specialised protective clothing you will need - 4 being the need to wear a Positive Pressure Personnel Suit (one of those Hazmat bodysuits that makes the wearer look like an astronaut).

Actually, this conversations brings up some interesting questions... such as; why were the humans in the P4 laboratory not wearing PPPS and just ordinary lab coats if they were indeed experimenting with viruses? And why did the P4 facility have air vents and windows? :bon3:

Presumably for the same reason they were trying to make a dog a suitable organ donor for humans by shoving DNA from people and assorted animals (possibly including reptiles if the scales on his haunches are anything to go by) into it and grafting Hot Topic chains directly into its flesh.

I've been looking everywhere on the internet and have never stumbled across a Swedish, Finnish, or Norwegian dub of the GDW anime. Do they even exist? Are there even other dubs of GDW except the Danish and the Chinese one (I think there is a Chinese one)?
Have a nice day!

No, the only dubs of GDW are in Chinese and Danish. Finnish, Swedish, and Norwegian are only offered in subs.

I've been thinking of the moment when Hiro saw Kamakiri as an adult.Hiro told him that he killed his father but Kamakiri refused to recognize him.
Then during their final battle,he tells him"Kid you're going where your father is." How is that? Also what was the age of Kamakiri at that time?

The first time he encounters Hiro, he is disrespecting him, so he doesn't acknowledge Hiro. Kamakiri was an adult when he killed Hiro's father, but I don't think there is an exact age.
