I would love to read it, it looks amazing and even more amazing that it is a Yoshihiro Takahashi first dog story!

Is it accessible anywhere in English?
I don't think so.Wisp wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 8:08 pm I read in interview with Yoshihiro Takahashi that his second work overall was about boy and his dog named Alps. Translator titled it ''My Alps''/'Ore no Alps''. おれのアルプス

It's 1973 issue 35, going by this page.Arano wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 10:43 am According to http://gingadog.com/theme/saku.html the jump image posted is one from 1977? Or is that just the jump that has the prize news inside it...
I use comicvine for the shonen archive and found it:
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/weekly-s ... 00-541688/
Unfortunately this one doesn't have the full contents listedand I haven't been able to find it sold on mercari or YJA to cross reference, maybe someone else might have better luck. Here's the search term:
週刊少年ジャンプ 1977
I like collecting the one-shot dog stories so if anyone can find it and confirm the story is in fact inside it, I'll get it.
Edit: I was incorrect, it's allegedly in a 1972 issue but I can't for the life of me find it in any of the 1972 issues in the archive.

I also see he writed under a pen name here, with "hiro" in "Yoshihiro" being in other kanji 義広 then his real name 義廣.Digsu wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 11:49 amIt's 1973 issue 35, going by this page.Arano wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 10:43 am According to http://gingadog.com/theme/saku.html the jump image posted is one from 1977? There's one copy for sale on Mercari at the moment (and the cover does mention Ore no Alps, so it is the correct issue), though it's 6265 yen and there's no picture of the pages themselves, so there's no way to tell what condition they're in.
Thanks Digsu, the only other one I could find sold on mandarake for 6,500 yen.Digsu wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 11:49 amIt's 1973 issue 35, going by this page.Arano wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 10:43 am According to http://gingadog.com/theme/saku.html the jump image posted is one from 1977?
