Is simping for fictional characters a thing?
I used to simp for John pretty hard…

I don’t think so, the closest thing I can think of is that I liked Smith and Hyena’s characters a lot, but that was just having a favorite character. The characters I simp for are usually not animals like the ones in Ginga, and even furries, like anthro ones, tend to be a pass from me. Just not super into that kind of thing
To answer the question straight, I’d pick Lydia during the Russian Arc because badass shepherd lady finally

I don't think I ever "simped" for a Ginga character, even when I was younger.
I don't think I have a character I could maybe say I could've simped for how much of a fave they were

Simping? None really like that, but I really enjoyed Kaibutsu, Tesshin, Ryo, Bat and Kagetora's designs to the point where I mainly drew them. Mainly Tesshin and Kagetora tho lmao.
