did hyena do anything wrong??? like at all he just did one thing because he Said he was scared, i dont think he deserved what he got but im honestly just confused.

Hyena was the sidekick of Commander Sniper,the guy who wanted to take over the pack of Riki. He helped Sniper in all his evil doings. From what I know based on anime (as manga was not available in our country), Hyena sticked with powerful guys like Sniper and Riki's platoons because he himself was not that strong and a coward male. Sniper threatened to kill him if he ever failed him and revealed to other members of the pack that Sniper wanted to take over the pack.

I like Hyena very much. Yes, he's a coward, but at the end he saved Ben heroically.
My guess is that Sniper saw Hyena and noticed his cowardly nature, and therefore he took advantage of him. And remember: in anime, Hyena went into hiding when the big battle began, but in manga he ran away just for a moment to eat his yummy!
